Fast rising in the ladder of stardom is Pooja. The actress introduced by director Saran in JJ has done a handful of movies in the past couple of years and established a name for herself.

Pooja, who took part in the audio release function of director Vishnuvardhan's Pattiyal held in Chennai on Monday, said, 'Recently, through a couple of offers, I have managed to win the hearts of fans. Doing good meaningful roles is my motto'.

Pooja is more bothered about the quantity rather than the quality.’ My films like Attagasam, Thambi or the forthcoming Pattiyal and Thagappansamy are quite different with more scope for me to perform. Though I am not averse to doing glamour roles, I am content acting in performance-oriented characters for now'.
